Coach Tim Criswell will bring our Laity Sunday message this coming Sunday, October 14th, all three services.  Excited to have Tim share with us, “Faith Through the Hard Times.”  Come support Coach Tim and keep him in prayer.  And many thanks to all of our lay leadership. You make it a blessing to work together for God’s highest and best through Carrollton First!   Come-And-Go Communion begins tonight, Thursday, 6:30-7:30 pm, chapel (next to church office), and each Thursday night going forward.  One or more of our pastors will be present for communion and prayer or anointing with oil as may be desired or requested for illness of any sort.  Come any time between 6:30 and about 7:15 for communion and prayer.  Use the back door of the chapel, courtyard area, Tanner Street.   Rise Against Hunger…The 20,000 mission meals we packaged in fun and efficient assembly line that glorious Sunday afternoon back in August are heading to a school feeding outreach in Somalia as part of a 250,000 meal shipment. This will bring extraordinary relief to children and families as Somalia continues to recover and rebuild from the ravages of civil war.  I’m so proud of you, Carrollton First!   Flag Football Sunday last Sunday was a huge success with over 100 youth in 9 o’clock worship and co-ed competing in the afternoon.  It was a memorable day with an exciting one-point victory in the championship game by Sam Conerly’s “Burnt Orange Brawlers”.   The Lord raise you up on eagles’ wings “Let your light so shine…”   —Matthew 5:16
